워낙 유명한 책.Reading& Vocabulary Development 가 목적인 책이어서구성이 잘 되어 있다.본문 내용은 세계적인 이슈, 정치, 사회, 과학, 건강 등 다양한 분야를 다루고흥미로운 소재로지식, 정보를 전달할 수 있도록 이루어져있다.지문이 길기는 하지만, 내용이 어렵지는 않다.문장이 단문이 아니라 복문이고 문장이 길고, 지문이 길지만 그덕분에 리딩 실력도 향상시킬 수 있다.본문 이후에는 다양한 문제들을 풀어볼 수 있다.어휘를 문장속에서 다시 복습할 수 있도록 도와주는 문제들과 함께본문 내용 파악, 문단 요약, writing, 문법까지 알차게 담아놓았다.아이의 상황에 맞게 필요한 부분들을 골라서 꼼꼼하게 풀어보면 좋을 것 같다.
